1. Respect each and every member regardless of other factors. You're here for fun and so are they. In other words, if you want to be an ass in character, you're welcome to...just keep your oc grievences to yourselves.
2. Stay active, if you don't and don't present us with a reason for absence then you lose your character. Simple as.
3. Try and post as regularly as possible, there are other people that want to roll on with the RP, so be considerate of them needing their RP fix.
4. Be realistic. You don't just flip up off your thumbs after being run over by an armoured tank. I don't give a d**n if you have a healing factor; stuff hurts. On that note don't be overly dramatic either. Both these things can throw a wrench in the RP works.
5. Don't curse excessively. What I mean by this is that you shouldn't drop a F-bomb every second sentence unless it's appropriate to your character's situation. (For example if you DO come up against the armoured tank)
6. Posts should be of a reasonable length. I will not provide a fixed number of lines or paragraphs, but try and be detailed. That said, don't drag it out too far, don't for example describe the exact angle and velocity of the pencil you've just hurled at your teacher during ethics class and don't launch into a long involved explanation of how it links in to your natural aversion to authority and snooty women.
7. Try and keep it clean man, there are kids watching. Or at least put a sock on the doorknob or something, jeez. The rp equivelant of a sock on the doorknob is, of course an [R] warning in the title or description.
7. There is no age bracket, per se on Refuge...but keep it believeable. We'll allow some younger characters for variety, but we wont let you be psycho powerful if you're 12.
8. Use the application template provided when creating a character. If you don't then it doesn't get looked at. Period.
10. Apply with the first and last name of your character. No nicknames, no codenames, first and last names.
eg. mephikins185 = bad
Felix Leiter = good... especially if you get the reference
11. Signatures are not necessary, but a 100x100 avatar featuring your play by is. Signatures must not be bigger than 300X400. Inappropriate
content or links to inappropriate content will be removed.
12. I'm not putting a limit on how many characters you can have, nor am I giving a certain number of posts you need to get before you can make another one. So long as you can keep up with all of them, then you're welcome to a legion of characters.
